Abbey Hotel & Leisure Centre

As part of our major reconstruction at the Abbey Hotel in Roscommon, which included a new leisure centre, we undertook to update our CCTV security systems. We chose to employ a Longford based company Communication Design Ltd.

They installed Sanyo cameras externally and internally on the site, recorded on an Intellex Digital Management System. We have found this system to be most satisfactory, especially the ease of operation it provides compared with our old analogue system.

In May 2003 I decided to upgrade my existing CCTV System. Having looked at a number of options, I decided in favour of a combination of high resolution Sanyo cameras and a 16 Channel Intellex Digital Management System 'with Till Interface and Remote Access Software, installed by Longford company, CDL (Communications Design Limited).

The system has proven to be an invaluable tool with which to manage my business on a day to day basis and certainly rates as one of the best investments I have made within my operation.

Michael Moore Car Sales, Athlone, moved to a new "state of the art" premises on the Dublin Road, Athlone, three years ago. The new premises are substantially larger than the old premises at Monksland, however at that time we transferred the existing camera system to the new premises which was largely inadequate for the security requirements of such a large premises. Recently, we decided to upgrade the camera system and looked at quite a range of products. However, we decided to install the Intellex DVDMS DV1600 System as it was a far superior product to anything else out there.
